What Makes Our ABA Programs Special?
With both In-Home and Center-Based ABA services, our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program welcomes individuals aged 2-21 who are diagnosed with Autism and seek to make positive changes at home and in their community. We work closely with our clients to teach daily living skills, communication skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and increase age-appropriate independence.
Our ABA program uses observations, data collection, and function-based assessments to develop treatment plans and goals individualized to each client. While utilizing positive reinforcement contingencies to help our client's develop, we also train parents and caregivers in the same methods we use to empower families with the ability to maintain and foster the skills learned in sessions for years to come.
Designed around your child’s unique strengths, needs, and family goals, we maintain small caseloads and a 1:1 ratio between client and support staff, which allows us the ability to create highly personalized treatment plans with consistent BCBA supervision in order to backup our commitment to a consistent and client-centered approach. Our focus on meaningful progress, rather than volume, allows us to ensure that our clients, their families, and our staff all receive the support and care they deserve.

Our Approach to ABA
With both In-Home and Center-Based ABA services, our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program welcomes individuals aged 2-21 who are diagnosed with Autism and seek to make positive changes at home and in their community. Our ABA program uses observations, data collection, and function-based assessments to develop an individualized treatment plan and reasonable goals consistent with the needs of each of our clients. Every client's ABA treatment team, consisting of a supervising Behavior Analyst (Board Certified Behavior Analyst and/or Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst) and a paraprofessional providing direct service, will work closely with families and the client, respectively, to teach daily living skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and increase age-appropriate independence.
Our ABA services utilize positive reinforcement contingencies while working to train parents and caregivers in using the same proven methods to empower families with the ability to maintain and foster the skills learned in sessions for years to come. Our Behavior Analysts will develop personalized plans and tools to track your child’s progress and verify that all treatment decisions are data-driven and all interventions employed are ethically and behaviorally sound. ABA is an intensive service that can be, determined on a case-by-case basis, for up to 40 hours per week if deemed clinically appropriate. These services support the needs of children and families committed to these making these changes a part of daily life.
Bay Coast Behavioral knows that every one of our clients is unique, which is why every treatment plan we create is just that, unique. We are committed to fulfilling the needs important to your child and your family. In our ABA programs parents will work closely with the Certified Behavior Analyst on a weekly basis as strategies are implemented, modeled, and used to train and coach in parents and caregivers in real time, so families can confidently implement those strategies at home. This professional oversight, provided every step of the way, allows parents and caregivers to feel confident in helping their child to grow thanks to the direct and informed instruction we provide through a clinically-trained paraprofessional offering professionally guided coaching and modeling behavioral interventions.
Offering ABA treatment across a variety of settings, including in-home based services, community-driven initiatives, and center-based services at one of our two ABA centers (in Fall River and Dartmouth), we strive to work closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide comprehensive care and increase access to socially significant environments so that treatment goals are generalized and maintained where it matters most.
Our team of clinical staff are strategically trained on the performance specifications put forth by the state of Massachusetts, along with a friendly, professional, family-oriented model of care put forth by the founders of Bay Coast Behavioral. We’re here to help you.
