Behavior Management Therapist (BMT)



Minimum Requirements of a Behavior Management Therapist:
•Master's in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or closely related field with a minimum 3 years of experience.
•Meets transportation requirements (No history of DUI, a year free of vehicle accidents, valid vehicle insurance, valid vehicle registration, and valid state inspection sticker).


Job Duties of a Behavior Management Therapist Include:
•Provide high quality behavioral health assessment and treatment services to children, adults and families for our in home-based or outreach programs.
•Ensure compliance and to maintain standards of care stipulated by BCB policies and procedures, Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations and other applicable regulations.
•Attend staff meetings and trainings as required and to regularly meet with his/ her supervisor in accordance with BCB policies and to carry out supervisory directives to ensure quality and efficient practice.
•Perform all professional and administrative functions as required to provide appropriate services to clients.


Bay Coast Behavioral (BCB) is currently looking for a Behavior Management Therapist to work with children and families. The Behavior Management Therapist a master’s level licensed mental health professional or behavior analyst who serves as the primary therapist and contact for all in-home clients. The Behavior Management Therapist develops treatment methodologies and ensures the effective implementation of all in-home treatment and programming for clients on their caseload. Those who meet the minimum requirements and have experience with mental health, behavioral health, social work, and counseling are encouraged to apply!
