Behavior Management Monitor (BMM)
Minimum Requirements of a Behavior Management Monitor:
•Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or closely related field with 3 years of experience.
•Meets transportation requirements (No history of DUI, a year free of vehicle accidents, valid vehicle insurance, valid vehicle registration, and valid state inspection sticker).
Job Duties of a Behavior Management Monitor Include:
•Meet with the clinical team regularly to review specific behavioral interventions and changes to the treatment plan.
•Document all client progress as well as frequency and intensity of target behaviors.
•Provide modeling of behavioral interventions to parents and participate in parent training procedures as dictated by the clinical team.
•Report to the clinical team any obstacles to service provision.
•Ensure that treatment is provided in a safe environment at all times.
•Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with families at all times.
•Attend staff meetings and trainings as required. Adhere to all agency policies and procedures
•Perform all professional and administrative functions as required to provide appropriate services to clients including adequate, complete, and timely documentation of client record materials, etc.
Bay Coast Behavioral (BCB) is currently looking for a Behavior Management Monitor to work with children and families. The Behavior Management Monitor (BMM) is a bachelor’s level behavior technician serving as the primary support for the behavior management plan devised by the Behavior Management Therapist. The Behavior Management Monitor records data according to the plan and direction of the Behavior Management Therapist (BMT) and reports changes or trends in clients’ behavior as reflected in the data. The Behavior Management Monitor models specific interventions prescribed by the BMT and coaches and supports parents and other caregivers in the implementation of behavior change strategies. The Behavior Management Monitor is responsible for adhering to professional and legal requirements and principles as well as demonstrating sound professional judgment at all times. The Behavior Management Monitor is responsible for ensuring that each client receives the best care per program standards.
